the act of letting go

yesterday i was on the train to jakarta. i saw a married couple and their child. the child was one or two years old. the family sat on a double train couch and the child was unhappy all the way. the parents tried everything to calm down the child until the child was sleeping sideways taking all the spaces in the double couch seat. meaning that the parents only got little space for them to sit for the rest of the journey ๐Ÿ™

then i looked at myself. the single couch is never even close to comfortable for me. i wish they have a bed on the train ๐Ÿ˜› but what about those married couple? only after some long hours they can put the baby on their lap.

as you get older, you are not getting more for yourself, you are giving out more, letting go of the things that comforts you, before in the end you must give up everything you have ๐Ÿ™‚ and the only thing that carries on with you is this act of letting go (for good purposes).

are you ready to let go?

Love those who “let go” for us
